Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effects of general anaesthesia and general+epidural anaesthesia on the stress response which was evaluated with the adrenocorticotrophic hormone (ACTH), cortisol, insulin, and glucose levels and the haemodynamic parameters.
