Abstract
Mobile health (mHealth) leverages mobile technologies, including smartphones, wearables, and apps, to support clinical care, administration, education, and communication. This article reviews mHealth applications from the physician's perspective, highlighting their role in diagnostics, remote monitoring, documentation, and education. Although these tools enhance efficiency and patient engagement, challenges remain in regulatory oversight, data privacy, and consistent app quality. mHealth continues to expand rapidly and holds promise for improving health care delivery and outcomes, particularly when integrated with artificial intelligence. Educating clinicians on app evaluation and integration into practice is essential to realizing the full potential of mHealth in improving patient care.
