Abstract

CONTEXT: Dexamethasone as an adjunct to ropivacaine has shown promising results in prolonging the duration of analgesia in transverse abdominis plane (TAP) block. Only limited studies evaluated the effects of dexamethasone with ropivacaine in TAP block in specific population.
