Abstract

BACKGROUND: Ginseng essence (GE) is a formulation comprising four medicinal and edible herbs including ginseng (), American ginseng (), lotus seed (), and lily bulb (). This study was aimed at investigating the hepatoprotective effect of GE against carbon tetrachloride (CCl)-induced liver injury in rats.
