Abstract

BACKGROUND: Accurate tracking and enumeration of surgical instruments are critical for patient safety and operational efficiency in laparoscopic procedures. Advanced tracking systems enhance object detection by maintaining instrument identity despite rapid movements, overlaps, or occlusions, ensuring real-time precision and preventing misplacement.
