Abstract

BACKGROUND: The ROSA robot (Medtech) has been shown to be a useful instrument in the surgeon's armamentarium for accurate placement of stereotactic electroencephlography depth electrodes. However, it has not yet been used as a navigation tool for lesion resection. Here, we demonstrate a novel adapter that allows the surgeon to use the ROSA robot with the NICO BrainPath for the resection of deep lesions.
