BACKGROUND: Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly applied in diagnostic neurosurgery, enhancing precision and decision-making in neuro-oncology, vascular, functional, and spinal subspecialties. Despite its potential, variability in outcomes necessitates a systematic review of its performance and applicability.
