Abstract

BACKGROUND: Few highly accurate tests can diagnose central lymph node metastasis (CLNM) of papillary thyroid cancer (PTC). Genetic sequencing of tumor tissue has allowed the targeting of certain genetic variants for personalized cancer therapy development.
