Abstract

BACKGROUND: Traditional histopathologic evaluation of peripheral nerve using brightfield microscopy is resource-intensive, necessitating complex sample preparation. Label-free imaging techniques paired with artificial intelligence-based image reconstruction and segmentation may facilitate peripheral nerve histomorphometry.
