Abstract

INTRODUCTION: Gastric gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) located at the gastroesophageal junction (GEJ), lesser curvature, posterior gastric wall, or antrum present challenges for gastric function preservation. The aim of this study was to evaluate safety and effectiveness of robot-assisted resection of gastric GIST in challenging anatomic locations.
