Abstract

BACKGROUND: Although regional wall motion abnormality (RWMA) detection is foundational to transthoracic echocardiography, current methods are prone to interobserver variability. We aimed to develop a deep learning (DL) model for RWMA assessment and compare it to expert and novice readers.
