Abstract

BACKGROUND: Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most prevalent cause of dementia, characterized by a steady decline in mental, behavioral, and social abilities and impairs a person's capacity for independent functioning. It is a fatal neurodegenerative disease primarily affecting older adults.
