Abstract

BACKGROUND: Neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL) accumulates in cortical tubules in acute kidney injury (AKI) patients, with its levels associated with serum creatinine. However, the predictive value of NGAL level for contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CI-AKI) remains unclear.
