Abstract
BACKGROUND: In search for less invasive operative techniques, the da Vinci Robot System was introduced in thyroid surgery. Previous studies have reported on safety, effectiveness and improved cosmetics of transaxillary endoscopic thyroidectomy procedures in selected cases.
