Abstract

BACKGROUND: Epilepsy, the tendency to have recurrent seizures, can have various causes, including brain tumors, genetics, stroke, brain injury, infections, and developmental disorders. Epileptic seizures are usually transient events. They normally leave no trace after the postictal recovery period has passed.
