Abstract

BACKGROUND: The impact of decreased bone mineral density (BMD) on traumatic rib fractures remains unknown. We combined computed tomography (CT) and artificial intelligence (AI) to measure BMD and explore its impact on traumatic rib fractures and their patterns.
