Abstract

BACKGROUND: The National Early Warning Score is widely used in Emergency Departments for triage, primarily to predict mortality. However, its effectiveness in assessing additional clinical outcomes relevant to triage, such as patient urgency and severity, remains unclear and warrants further investigation.
