Abstract

BACKGROUND: Accurate evaluation of the axillary lymph node (ALN) status is needed for determining the treatment protocol for breast cancer (BC). The value of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-based tumor heterogeneity in assessing ALN metastasis in BC is unclear.
