Abstract

OBJECTIVE: Chronic respiratory diseases (CRDs) and cardiovascular diseases (CVD) share common risk factors and frequently co-occur, leading to poorer outcomes. Life's Essential 8 (LE8), a novel metric for cardiovascular health, may provide insights into this association. This study investigates the relationship between LE8 and CRDs to identify modifiable factors for targeted prevention.
