Influence of robotic-assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy on vaginal cuff healing and brachytherapy initiation in endometrial carcinoma patients.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of robotic-assisted laparoscopic hysterectomy (RALH) compared with total abdominal hysterectomy by laparotomy (TAH) on vaginal cuff healing in early-stage endometrial carcinoma patients receiving adjuvant intravaginal brachytherapy (IVBT).
